Surf2Phone is an implementation of the 'Mobile Marketing' system with the notable exception that it is a paid service containing no advertisements. Surf2Phone provides text message surf reports to subscribers who are able to choose the location for the report and configure delivery time based on day of the week.

The Surf2Phone system is completely automated - it registers new users, handles cancellations, submits billing information to cell phone carriers, automatically generates surf reports using public data, and unfailingly sends messages on schedule. Surf2Phone charges appear on the user's cell phone bill, therefore only a cell phone number is required to register, no credit card information is required.
