This paid subscription service offers text message surf reports for cell phones. Users specify the location and delivery time for the daily report which includes swell height/direction, wind speed/direction, tide data, and water temperature. Billing appears on the user's cell phone bill.

Alternative Technology Laboratories is owned by Courtney Ludwin. Courtney is a Harvard-educated Software Engineer who has played a key role in the technology behind a number of successful startup companies. Alternative Technology Laboratories is a venture which started like all others: to build things smarter, to make them better, and to provide customers with services which deliver.
